Greetings & Welcome to Okinawa Outpost's online website. Just a few notes. As this is an "artistic" website there are many many graphics on every single page. Some of these graphics are rather large for dial-up clients due to the overall image size of the picture. They are larger file sized pictures so the quality and detail will be higher than it normally would. As a result though it can take a few seconds to load a page. If you do have trouble with the site please drop me a line at the email address listed below and I'll get back to you as soon as possible. The site itself has been tested on Safari for PC, Mozilla Firefox for PC, Internet Explorer for PC & Safari for MAC. This site was designed in a multi-platform environment with Macromedia Dreamweaver.
I mainly focus on tsukamaki work itself wrapping in hineri, kata & tsumami wrap styles for katana,wakiashi & tanto styled blades. I also carve and make new tsuka cores for folks. I do not currently offer saya creation but do offer saya finishing or re-finishing. I am beginning to delve into sayashi work but as of now do not offer it generally. You can find everything I offer inside the site itself as well as some examples of my work. Although I don't have the time to photo every single project I do; I do try to get in a few shots here and there if folks don't mind their work on my site. Some don't like their theme's copied so they elect not to have their mount photographed for posting.
